Infosession @ASTI

On December 2, 2016, Association de Soutien aux Travailleurs Immigré (ASTI) invited Sleeves Up to give a presentation in Mersch on how to create a business in Luxembourg. Topics included common reasons for self-employment, how asylum seekers can work toward that goal even while waiting for residency, essential administrative steps required for opening a business, and diverse resources for helping budding entrepreneurs. The talk was conducted English under the auspices of project “Connections”, an ASTI initiative which helps refugees enter the labor market. Thirty-eight participants attended.
